I don't know much about them but I think it has a good look to it.
The car had a window sticker attached as well. I'm assuming it's authentic.

The guy down the block from me owns a white one. I have no clue about them either but they're very pretty.

Authentic can be a little tricky with Avantis since they were made for years after Studebaker went under, but since this claims to be a '63 it probably is.

'63 and early '64 Avantis all had round headlight bezels. These were changed during the '64 model year to square bezels, and every Avanti II thereafter had square bezels. So unless this one's a patch job, it's authentic.

You know, I was wondering why I liked this one more than I normally like Avantis and that's it. I don't like the square bezels around the lights! Thanks for the good info.

I quite like those wheels! Better than the hubcaps that they had offered.

I like everything from the very front back but the very front looks like some weird boat-car thing... I dunno it's strange looking to me.

the Avanti is my MOST favorite car ever... They were the fastest production car the 2 years the original was made. Fiberglass. Fast. Luxurious for the time (the glovebox was a pull-out vanity for the misses). Unique to look at (reminds me of 80's film "Batteries Not Included" robots). Supercharged. Shall I go on??? They're just gorgeous...

I saw one of these when I was a about fifteen, parked on the street, around 1980. I walked up to it and stared at it, thinking What the heck is that?
I’d love a chance to drive one.
